World of Work Week Pictures – 11th – 15th November 2024

World of Work Week: Monday 11th^th – Friday 15^th November 2023

Miss McQuarrie, Miss Markey and our Primary 4 class have been working very hard to plan a fun and interactive timetable of Career Talks, Workshops and visits out of school for World of Work and Scottish Careers Week. Between Monday 11^th and Friday 15^th November our children will receive class visits from professionals based in a variety of occupations and roles. They will have the opportunity to ask visitors questions, handle props and learn lots of engaging information relating to different career journeys. In addition, some classes will be going out to visit workplaces to get an idea of different jobs and skills/qualifications required. All these activities will support our pupils in developing ‘Skills for Learning, Skills for Work and Skills for Life’ and we are looking forward to welcoming our visitors in to school, as well as visiting them in their place of work.
